The issue of cybersecurity is one of the most important issues at the present time, in terms of regional and international digital human rights, which have become synonymous with human rights recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. Each country has its own way in dealing with development of the digital spaces, which is differ according to its economic and political development levels. This paper tackles the concept of cybersecurity, the relationship between it and the right to security and the right to freedom of opinion and expression; what has recently been developed by States to deal with it, in light of the fact that the means of social media and Internet networks are very important in the current era. Also, the paper discusses the Violations committed by some countries in this regard which contravene with the international conventions, specially, with the most important and highlighted one “article 19” of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression including the freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers. “
